Ukraine: Beer, malt output increase in January-April this year

Ukraine’s January-April beer production (excluding zero alcohol beer and brands with less than 0.5% alc. by vol.) increased by 35.3% versus the same period last year, trade association Ukrpivo said on May 11.

The nation’s brewers produced a total of 3.81 mln hl of beer over the reporting period.

Malt output in January-April increased by 130% to 85,853 tonnes, Ukrpivo reported.
